Air brake status available in an instant with new monitoring device continued

The Eagle Eye Brake Monitor compliments existing inspection programs by providing convenient readings of brake stroke, pad wear, and temperature. The information is delivered by way of an easy to read touch screen that mounts close at hand to the driver. A mere stroke of the finger provides precise data on brake wear, temperature range, and percentage of pad life. Up to 16 wheel ends can be tracked at a time.

The unit also provides a data logger that tracks mechanical changes and trends. This allows maintenance personnel to book out of service time on a “need to repair” basis. A memory card enables the downloading of system data allowing for convenient record keeping.
